1) #DIGSMASH: HUGS ROASTED BY PEERS AT BEYOND THE SUMMIT’S SECOND ROAST EVENT

Last weekend, popular Super Smash Bros player Hugo “HugS” Gonzalez was the centerpiece of Beyond the Summit's second-ever “Roast.” A platform for only the most prestigious Smash players, HugS was selected to be roasted in front of his peers and fans. Hundreds of Smash players showed up in Los Angeles for an opportunity to compete in a tournament and stay for the comedy show. The event was a roaring success as nearly 15,000 concurrent viewers tuned in during the event.


2) #DIGPUBG: TEAM FINISHES SECOND IN OGA PIT SERIES GRAND FINALS

After battling through the qualifier stage, Team Dignitas’ PUBG team secure their place in the OGA PUBG Pit Series Grand Finals. Featuring the likes of Cloud9, NaVi, Team Liquid, Ghost Gaming and FaZe Clan, among others, Team Dignitas was pitted against the best of the best. After eight matches and two chicken dinners, Team Dignitas finished second place in the two-day online tournament.


3) #DIGHEROES: SECURED FIRST SEED HEADING INTO BLIZZCON

Team Dignitas’ Heroes of the Storm team capped off a long season, that started in June, with an impressive 13-1 record. Beyond that, Team Dignitas had a remarkable 41-7 record in individual games, with the next closest team holding a 31-20 record. Throughout the duration of the 2018 season, Team Dignitas won Western Clash #1 at IEM Katowice, finished 2nd at the Mid-Season Brawl and won Western Clash #2. Their results make them the western world favorite headed into the culminating BlizzCon Grand Finals, starting in late October.


4) HEATHER GAROZZO SPEAKS AT U.S. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & ESPORTS BAR

Director of Marketing, Heather Garozzo, was invited to speak at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Sports Forward event in Washington DC. The list of speakers included soccer legend Abby Wambach, first female NFL coach Jen Welter, and multiple Olympic gold medalists, among other female leaders in sports. A crowd of several hundred listened to Heather explain the importance of female leaders in the esports space. Heather later traveled to Miami for the next Esports Bar. Billed as an expert on fan engagement, Heather served as a mentor for brands looking to enter the esports space.


5) #DIGSMITE: TEAM DIGNITAS LEADS LEAGUE IN FALL SPLIT AHEAD OF WORLDS

The Team Dignitas SMITE team is looking like their old selves, with a league-leading Fall performance as Dignitas sets their sights on Worlds. The team is 7-1 heading into the final two weeks of regular season play. Just one win is needed to guarantee their place at SMITE Worlds, held at the popular Dreamhack Atlanta gaming festival.
