Team Dignitas parts ways with L0CUST

Wed 18th Jul 2012 - 7:17pm

Today we regret to announce the departure of Patrick 'L0CUST' Miller from our League of Legends team. The reason for this change is that the entire lineup feels this move is necessary to perform at a higher level. Most of our players have returned from Korea after a disappointing result at the Azubu OGN tournament, which is why the entire lineup is now more motivated than ever to do better at the Season 2 Championships.

L0CUST was an original member of Rock Solid and has been part of our lineup since they joined the Team Dignitas organisation. We want to thank L0CUST for all his help and we wish him the best of luck in the future.

We will announce our new support player in the near future, we will keep you updated.

Team captain Scarra had the following to say: "Today, we part with one of the oldest members of the Team Dignitas League of Legends team. L0cust, our support player, will no longer be playing for our team. We had to reach a tough decision after our performance in korea and prior events, and we decided that we wanted the highest chance to win the season 2 championships, which was a choice that eventually came down to this moment.

While it may seem like a decision made far too late with the impending NA regionals, the team decided that with the addition of our as of yet unannounced support player, we can look to perform at a higher level."

L0CUST wanted to add the following: "It has been a great year playing for Team Dignitas, I will cherish the memories. A big thank you to all the staff for making it possible, and goodluck to the team in their upcoming tournaments. Hopefully we will meet again during the Season Two Finale!"
