Team Dignitas is happy to announce the 2017 Overwatch lineup! We are returning three star players and adding three new faces to strengthen our lineup and continue competing at the highest level. With the Overwatch league coming up, Team Dignitas is excited to see what the future will bring for our Overwatch division!

We're excited to announce that DPS player Jose Antonio 'BromaS' Ramos Gonzales, Flex pick Joshua 'ToxikeN' Campos and DPS/Flex player Jiri 'LiNkzr' Masalin extended their contracts and maintain their spot in our starting lineup for 2017. Both LiNkz and BromaS competed in the World Cup playoffs with their respective nations, Spain and Finland, only to face each other in the Quarter Finals and go home with a Top 8 and Top 4 placement.

"With a mix between the old Team Dignitas and Ninjas with Attitude, a new powerhouse team is ready to make their mark in 2017."
- Jason Kaplan, Overwatch caster at ESL

Joining the team is Marcel 'Veineless' Lehmann, a former 2014 Infinite Crisis Support player for Team Dignitas who helped us reach a Top 4 placement at the World Finals. He's known for his smart plays and strategic mindset, which will come in handy when he's keeping the team alive as our new Support player. Our second Support role is filled by Elvinas 'Evokje' Padegimas, known for his consistent performance since the early days of Overwatch.

Our last addition is Patrick 'Wat7' Marwal, an Austrian World Cup player who impressed the team over the last few months with his consistent performances, and will be taking on our Tank role.

"It is good to see that Team Dignitas have preserved their core identity, bringing in Austrian World Cup representative Wat7 in to fill the dedicated tank role, possibly the only piece of the puzzle that was missing originally."
- Mitch 'Ubershouts' Leslie, Overwatch caster at ESL

Nicholas 'Shifty' Travis will join the team as head coach. As a consistently top ranked player on the European competitive ladder, Shifty has been coaching both individual professionals and teams across NA and EU since May 2016. His experience as a player and guidance as a coach will enable our team to communicate and compete at the highest level.

We look forward to seeing the team in action in the XTRA Cup LAN finals on January 28 in Paris, France.
