1) #DIGRL: THE PROVING GROUNDS CHAMPION

Our Rocket League team competed in The Proving Grounds tournament this weekend. The tournament paired sixty amateur teams against some of North America's best. Starting in the Quarter-Finals, the Team Dignitas trio defeated amateur team Sol Esports in a decisive 3-0 victory. Moving into the Semi-Finals, the team challenged and defeated Splyce, a highly ranked professional team, then followed that win with by a dominant 4-0 performance in the Grand Finals against Lights Out. As a result, Team Dignitas took home a gold medal and a cash prize as The Proving Grounds Champions.

2) #DIGHEROES: SECURE TOP SEED AND QUALIFY FOR MID-SEASON BRAWL

Western Clash Champions, Team Dignitas, will return to LAN competition in June after qualifying for the Mid-Season Brawl during regular season play. With wins over Diamond Skin (3-1) and Method (3-0), Team Dignitas secured the first seed in the HGC Playoffs – even with two weeks left to go in regular season play. Team Dignitas will look to bring home another trophy as Western favorite going into the highly anticipated Summer event.

3) #DIGSMASH: HUGS NOMINATED INTO SMASH SUMMIT 6 VOTING PHASE

Smash Summit 6, a fan-favorite tournament in the Melee scene, opened up invitations for the next event to fan-submitted nominees. HugS received hundreds of nominations which caused him to advance to the voting phase. The top 20 players from nominations can then be voted in by fans. Only the top 2 will advance. After a few days of voting, HugS in second place with over 5,500 votes. If he makes the cut, he’ll be paired up against the best of the best in the May, Los Angeles based, tournament.

4) TEAM DIGNITAS PARTICIPATE IN PAX EAST FESTIVITIES

#DIGSMASH players, HugS & Lucky, along with streamers Selenityy and Ellektrikk traveled to Boston for the popular PAX East gaming conference. The Dignitas representatives first joined WD for a product unveiling and fan meet & greet. At a local Buffalo Wild Wings, HugS, Lucky and Ellektrikk live streamed from the restaurant, playing PUBG and interacting with fans as the stream was broadcast throughout the restaurant. The group wrapped up their trip with a meet-up and raffles with HyperX. The players and streamers were thrilled to spend the weekend meeting with their fans and engaging with the team’s sponsors.

5) #DIGCLASH: TEAM DIGNITAS JOINS CLASH ROYALE LEAGUE

Supercell, maker of the popular Clash Royale mobile esport, announced the first ever Clash Royale League. Team Dignitas has joined as one of the founding members. Based in the European Region, Team Dignitas will field a handful of Clash Royale players will compete in league play starting in August 2018. A share of the $1,000,000 prize purse will be on the line for the best teams. We look forward to announcing our new Clash Royale players in the coming weeks.
