After holding the RLCS World Championship trophy for the third time, Pierre "Turbopolsa" Silfver answered a few of our questions about his team's transfer to Team Dignitas, the World Championship event, and how he has maintained his status as the king of Rocket League eSports.

Turbopolsa: Post-World Championship Interview

What prompted the change from Gale Force to Team Dignitas?

Turbopolsa: While we had internal issues with Gale Force, Team Dignitas came to us with an offer we couldn't resist and I'm happy they did.

What's different about playing for Team Dignitas backed by the Philadelphia 76ers?

Turbopolsa: We get way more attention and we are treated like royalty. It feels great knowing that we have a great sports team backing us up and it's really cool that they choose Team Dignitas to come into the eSports scene.

What is your motivator behind staying at the top?

Turbopolsa: The competitive spirit in me. I always want to be the best and I'm not going to stop until someone stops me.

How did you and your team prepare for the World Championships? (Scrimmages, Ranked Matches, etc.?)

Turbopolsa: Every Worlds, we try to scrim 5-6 hours the day before. We play against any of the teams on the other side of the bracket.

Any superstitions or rituals that you go through before a game or a major event?

Turbopolsa: I'm just trying to be as relaxed as I can be and not think about the outcome of what could happen if we lose.

North American teams did quite well this season, one even making it to the Grand Final against your team. Any words for GarrettG, jstn, and Fireburner?

Turbopolsa: NRG is the team to look out for now. They look extremely strong and I can see them making long runs in upcoming tournaments. I'd be surprised if they aren't in the Finals at NARLI.

The Grand Final versus NRG will go down as one of the greatest series in Rocket League history, so the pressure and tension must have been immense. What thoughts or emotions were going through your head at the end of that Game 7?

Turbopolsa: That game didn't start so great since I owngoaled a couple of seconds into the game. It's always great having teammates who cheer you up when bad things happen and that's what kept us going regardless of the owngoal. I felt a huge relief when I scored the OT goal to clinch the win.

After winning back-to-back-to-back World Championships in Season 3,  Season 4, and Season 5, how do you manage to stay on top as a player?

Turbopolsa: Being consistent and having good teammates. Having good mentality and never blaming your teammates is probably why we are still at the top if I'm being completely honest.

What is next for the team? What will you do during your next four weeks?

Turbopolsa: Some days off, then back to scrimming again before going to NARLI in Canada.

Any ideas what you’ll do with your prize money?

Turbopolsa: Save it all.

Any shoutouts to end this interview?

Turbopolsa: I love my team! Special shoutout to GarrettG who I look up to regarding dedication and nothing stands in his way for him to achieve what he wants.

A massive thank you to Turbopolsa for taking the time to answer our questions! He's a very entertaining guy so don't forget to drop him a follow on Twitter and Twitch!
