1) #DIGSMASH: LUCKY WINS TMT MELEE TOURNAMENT AT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA’S ESPORTS ARENA

Smash player, Lucky, traveled just across Los Angeles to the popular Esports Arena LAN center for a one-night tournament. Despite being a more localized event, a number of stars from the thriving SoCal scene made an appearance. Lucky maintained his position in the upper bracket throughout the entire evening. Surpassing the other 56 attendees, Lucky finished in first place with a swift 3-0 victory over Tempo Storm’s S2J.

2) #DIGCSGO FE: EMUHLEET SPEAKS AT LA VALIANT/MICROSOFT HOSTED ‘GIRLS IN GAMING’ SUMMIT

Team captain EMUHLEET was invited by the LA Valiant Overwatch League team to speak at their first “Girls in Gaming” summit, co-hosted by Microsoft. EMUHLEET, joined by other females from Blizzard, AnyKey, Microsoft and more, spoke on a panel to a mix of students that are interested in gaming careers and media looking to understand esports from a woman’s point of view. Following the event, EMUHLEET was interviewed by INVEN Global about her career as a professional gamer and why it’s important she serves as a role model to future esports athletes.

3) #DIGCLASH: KARNAGE, 16 YEAR OLD FROM SPAIN, JOINS CLASH ROYALE ROSTER

With the first ever Clash Royale combine just days away, we’ve finished selecting our pre-combine roster. Joining Trainer Diputs (New York) and MaxLaMenance (France) is 16-year-old star from Spain, Jorge “Karnage” Bailón. Karnage recently won the Qlash League and finished with the highest win-rate (83%) of any Qlash League competitor. Karnage and team, along with General Manager ODEE, will travel to Amsterdam for the June 1 Clash Royale combine where we’ll be selecting our final players to round out our roster.

4) TRIKSLYR, POPULAR HOTS CASTER & VARIETY STREAMER, JOINS STREAM TEAM

Tim “TrikSlyr” Frazier, one of Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm on-camera talents, joined Team Dignitas as a streamer. Based in Los Angeles, TrikSlyr spends the Hots season at the Blizzard studio, broadcasting the best games Heroes of the Storm has to offer. During the off-season and outside of match days, TrikSlyr is a popular Twitch streamer. Not only does he play HotS, but also plays Fortnite, Sea of Thieves and Tomb Raider, among other games. TrikSlyr brings with him a large known as his ‘Button Mashers’.

5) #DIGSMASH: LUCKY & HUGS COMPETE AT ONTARIO’S ‘GET ON MY LEVEL’

Lucky and HugS continued their continent-wide tour with an event in Ontario, Canada; Get On my Level 2018. As is custom, Lucky first played in the Doubles tournament, solidifying a fifth place finish among 99 competitors. Later, both Lucky and HugS participated in the Singles event. The field was packed with 449 entrants including many of the game’s best. HugS finished 17th place while Lucky secured 9th place.
