Team Dignitas 2018 Spring Split Preview Week 3
Team Dignitas remain undefeated in the SPL so far, proving themselves to be one of the best teams in the EU region. This week, they face more tough competition as they go up against NRG, another top team from the region. Let's see how their games should pan out.
Team Dignitas vs NRG Esports, Tuesday, April 3rd, 7:00pm CEST

These two have been very evenly matched teams in the past, always having very back and forth games. However, NRG's roster has changed since their last matchup, picking up new support EmilZy to accompany their star ADC emilitoo in lane. With this change, the entire dynamic of the team has shifted and their synergy still needs some work. The games NRG has lost so far they've lost due to being unable to decide what kind of playstyle to need to go for, a symptom of a team not fully comfortable with itself yet. On the other hand, Trixtank and Arkkyl are the picture of lane cohesion. Having played together for over a year, they have a distinct advantage over NRG. However, if they play sloppily or underestimate the opposition, NRG could easily take this lane away from them.
In the jungle, we see an old matchup between greats, that has been fought many times before. QvoFred and Adapting are both incredibly mechanically skilled junglers able to play multiple play styles extremely well. In their previous matchups, its been very back and forth as to who has won, so predicting the outcome will be almost impossible. It's worth noting that this meta so far has seemed to favour QvoFred's specific playstyle, as Team Dignitas has so far gone undefeated. Whatever the case, as always, this should be a matchup to watch
In the midlane, we get another matchup of superstars. Yammyn and Zyrhoes have both been top tier midlaners for a long time, with Zyrhoes being the captain of multiple high-level teams and Yammyn being a former SWC MVP. The midlane being one of the most volatile lanes, this will be a fun and interesting matchup to watch. A lot of it will come down to rotations from the rest of their team members but especially their junglers. If QvoFred gets ahead of Adapting and is able to give assistance to Zyrhoes, it could be a very easy lane for him.
Finally, the solo lane sees two aggressive solo laners go head to head once more. Variety and Maniakk are both known for being strong laners who use aggressive and dominant tactics to control their lane. However, in most of their previous matchups, Variety has had a significant upper hand over Maniakk. The reason for this seems to be that Variety, being an aggressive player himself, knows how to play against and counter an aggressive player like Maniakk. Variety has had many early first bloods against Maniakk for this reason and if Maniakk hasn't learned to play against Variety, he could easily cost his team the win.
While these two teams are very evenly matched, Team Dignitas has a very definite advantage and should be able to take this set quite handily, putting them at 5-0
