Team Dignitas is looking for a charismatic LoL Show Host

With the Summer Split starting this week we are looking to start a new League of Legends Youtube series. In 2014 we already ran the Recall League of Legends series hosted by dignitas/Jess who discussed all the latest news in the LoL scene on a weekly base. However, we want to do something new, something fresh. This is where you come in; Team Dignitas is looking to team up with a charismatic personality to host our next League of Legends show!

Do you have a lot of League of Legends knowledge? Do you follow the scene and lurk the subreddit on a daily basis? Do you enjoy being infront of a camera/webcam and do you consider yourself a charismatic person who can keep people entertained? Then this might be the start of your esports career! Straight up we want to inform you that this is an experimental project, we're looking to start with a pilot episode on a volunteer basis before we are willing to discuss future plans. We're still figuring out the direction we want to go which is why we're looking for your input since a good host is a big step in the right direction.

Minimum requirements:

- Be 18 or older
- Have great verbal English
- Have a charismatic personality, be a natural entertainer/presenter
- Be able to record your own footage using a camera or high quality webcam

 

We are looking for someone who:

- is entertaining to watch
- can work/record footage independently
- preferably has experience with video editing although this is not a must (our editing crew and graphic artists are at your disposal)
- follows the LoL scene very closely (if you read the LoL subreddit on a daily basis that's a great start)

How do you apply?

Simple, you want to be a video show host? Well then make a video! We want you to make a video application where you tell us about yourself, your experience with web content and video editing/production and what kind of show YOU would like to present. If we like the idea and your video, you might be hosting our pilot show and perhaps your idea will be picked for the show.

Many people such as the renown LCS EU host, Sjokz, started out as video show host which kickstarted their career. We see this as a similar opportunity and therefore want to give everyone a chance, no prior experience required although it is definitely a bonus!
