Team Dignitas Player Spotlight: Cruzerthebruzer

Welcome to the Team Dignitas Player Spotlight, where we take the time to highlight the heart and soul of Team Dignitas, our players. The player we're going to look at today is the top laner for Team Dignitas' North American League of Legends squad, Cruz 'Cruzerthebruzer' Ogden.

Bio

A man of many hats, Cruzerthebruzer occupied the top lane of four competitive teams before he was picked up by Team Dignitas. Since then he's been living with the team and according to him, they've become fast friends.

History

Cruzer began his professional bruzing League of Legends career in April of 2012, with Team Legion. Commencing his competitive life in the top lane, Cruzer has felt at home ever since. Early on in Season 1 and 2 Cruzer was known for his skill with Lee Sin, a muscle that he has been flexing of late. With Team Legion Cruzer attended IPL Faceoff: San Francisco Showdown. In the first and second rounds, Cruzer helped Team Legion defeat mTw North American and Team WE respectively. Falling to Team Solo Mid in the winner's bracket final, Legion finished the tourney in third. Legion then disbanded later in October of 2012.

Cruzer soon found another team to call home in January, 2013 with Team MRN. He acted as a sub for the team's time in the Season 3 LCS Spring Split, but when they were relegated in May they soon disbanded. Trying to find avenues to display his abilities, Cruzer joined Azure Cats while with MRN, but they too disbanded in May. Cruzer once again found himself a wayward soul, but luckily Thresh had been released in late January, so his soul wasn't wandering for long. 

In October of 2013 Cruzer joined Team LoLPro, but only for a short time. After having numerous doors closed on him, Cruzer finally found the opportunity he had been looking for. Less than a month before the Battle of the Atlantic, Team Dignitas picked Cruzer up as their top laner. In an interview with Team Dignitas, Cruzer said, "Being on an established team is a huge deal to me. Leading up to this point no team has been on much of a steady foundation whether it be roster, sponsors, or something else." 

After a tough start against Alliance in Battle of the Atlantic, and the beginning of the Spring Split, Cruzer and Team Dignitas began to cohese as a team and pick up steam. Over the course of the split, Cruzer displayed cool mechanics on some of his favorite champions like Shyvana, Jayce and his personal favorite, Lee Sin.
