Team Dignitas Player Spotlight: Imaqtpie

Welcome to the Team Dignitas Player Spotlight, where we take the time to highlight the heart and soul of Team Dignitas, our players. The player we're going to look at today is the marksman for Team Dignitas' North American League of Legends squad, Michael 'Imaqtpie' Santana.

Bio
Imaqtpie has traveled all the way from Margate, Florida to play in the LCS in Los Angeles, California. Known for the creation of the Dongsquad on his stream, Imaqtpie earned himself a near cult following due to his heimerdinger mechanics and stylish kills while on stream.

History

Back in April of 2011, Imaqtpie joined Scarra on Rock Solid as their marksman, replacing OXICLEAN. Since playing with mid laner Scarra and jungler Jatt, Imaqtpie has been a solid performer in the marksman role for the current Team Dignitas squad. Although his history with the team has been filled with his antics both in and out of competitive play, Imaqtpie and his lovely locks have provided high octane play for years.

Season 1 proved to be just the beginning for Imaqtpie, as he played with team Rock Solid to qualify for IEM Season VI - Global Challenge New York. Showing he and the team had what it took, Team Dignitas picked up the Rock Solid roster along with Imaqtpie, allowing the team to travel to New York to earn fifth/sixth place.

Over the course of the next two seasons, Imaqtpie played quite a lot of Ezreal, Vayne and Graves due to their dueling potential. After displaying his skill in tournaments like IEM Season VI - World Championship and on stream, Imaqtpie quickly branded himself as a master of mechanics.While on stream, Imaqtpie often played the champion Heimerdinger in unorthdox roles like marksman, giving birth first to his #Dongermechanics, and then the Dongsquad. The Dongsquad rapidly became infamous for their spamming of variations of the phrase 'raise ur dongers' as well as the emotes FrankerZ and Kappa.

Now in the present Season 4, Imaqtpie and his teammates on Team Dignitas had a slow start out of the gates, with two tough loses. Since then, Imaqtpie has blown the competition away with his superb Jinx play, winning each of his four games  with the champion, and even bringing out Draven in the most recent match against Counter Logic Gaming.
