KoWa interviewed post i44
Ted 'KoWa'Hansson is part of the newly emerged Team Dignitas Call of Duty 4 squad, which started in October 2011. This is his first time he and Dimitry 'Delroo' Decan are playing for Team Dignitas (Unlike Mark 'Phantasy' Pinney, Mark 'Mark' Horner and Chris 'Blackmane' Kinnar who have all represented Team Dignitas before).
After i44 we decided to catch up with him, about the past events and what to look forward to in the future of the Team Dignitas CoD4 squad and the future of CoD4 itself.

How was i44 for you?
KoWa: It was pretty good like the I-series events always are however a bit disappointing result wise for me and my team but the social part is always a good laugh and great fun.
Did you think you could have done a lot better than you did then?
KoWa: Yeah I think we could've gone home with a first place without any doubts but I guess we could have come a bit more prepared than we were and also loads of stuff happened that we couldn't really help.
You guys are a fairly new team; do you think you need more time to practise together before you start pulling in big results?
KoWa: Well the team is new but every player brings so much experience to the table so we should be able to be a top contender for any tournament with some minor tactical things changed.
You just came back from Dreamhack, how was that for you?
KoWa: Dreamhack… there is no words to explain how a Dreamhack really is. It's just an amazing experience that you need to experience yourself to get a grasp how big and awesome it is.
With CS:GO on the horizon and MW3 now announced as an ESL sport will you be staying focused on CoD4 or trying out new games?
KoWa: I love CoD4 and will probably play every tournament and LAN event announced. But I'm a gamer and I try all kind of games and if I find something really cool to play and compete in I would gladly move to that game so would my team mates I think.
CoD4 has been around for a while now, do you think it will continue to be popular like CS 1.6 or will it eventually die out?
KoWa: I think it all depends what’s going to happen next year if the big LANs are announced for CoD4 or not, there’s rumours about TEX and AEF and I hope they're true if not I think CoD4 will eventually move slowly to its death.

What major events are you looking forward to next year?
KoWa: Since not much is actually 100% confirmed for CoD4 next year I don't really know but rumour wise I would like to go TEX and AEF and any other events that gets announced and of course Dreamhack and I-series, they are always fun to attend.
Finally, what would your advice be to anyone trying to get into competitive CoD4?
KoWa: Never give up! I know for a fact it’s really hard for an outsider to get into the community since I've been one myself but just keep playing and eventually you will have loads of really cool CoD people welcoming you into the family.
Any shoutouts?
KoWa: I'd like to thank Team Dignitas and their sponsors who make it possible for us to attend these events.
