Meta in general

Most effecient tactic available or meta as it's simply called, is a group made out of specific heroes available in general. These heroes have abilities that either make them stand out on their own compared to other heroes in the same position, or their abilities synergizes well with other heroes in the current meta.

The meta is not the same in all regions, as servers has divided the player base into three regions who has all formed their own way of playing Heroes of the storm.

Asian meta

In Asia we see a very aggressive playstyle, that revolves around fighting the opposing team and by overcoming their opponents, they use their advantage to take the map objectives while they are outnumbering the other team. This aggressive mentality has developed a meta, where we see things like double melee assasin and other heroes like Tyrael who synergizes well with this playstyle.

Western meta

In the west(EU/NA) the mentality revolves more around map objective control and capitalization of such. The composition mostly consist of either double support or double warrior to gain control of the map objective area. We often see full 5v5 teamfights around the objective where both teams will poke out damage untill they find an opening and get a kill and then the losing team will pull back from the objective and soak experience instead.
