DIG Heroes qualifies for the Mid-Season Brawl!

The Heroes of the Storm Global Championship (HGC) European Phase 1 has come to an end, and Fnatic emerged victorious and booked tickets to the Mid-Season Brawl, held at Dreamhack Summer 2017, in June. Second through sixth place had to content themselves with a place in the HGC Playoffs, a gauntlet-style series of matches where the lowest seeds face off first, then the winner took on the next higher seed and so on.

Having placed third in the regular season, we took on Team Expert on Saturday, who we overcame with a 3-1 score line. This has moved us into Sunday's best-of-5 against Team Liquid. The winner would qualify for the Mid-Season Brawl alongside Fnatic as the second European representative. Despite dropping one game, we were able to turn up and claim what is rightfully ours! We're going to Sweden!
