DIG Heroes are HGC Western Clash Champions! [VOD]

The first weekend of March marked half-time of Phase 1 of the Heroes Global Championship (HGC). Dominating all but one series, Team Dignitas went into the Western Clash as the highest seeded of four European teams. They were joined by the best four teams from North America. Squads from both regions not only played for prize money but a further spot for their region at the Mid-Season Brawl.

Despite going into the tournament as favorites, it became clear quickly that this would not be an easy victory by any means with both NA teams HeroesHearth and Team Twelve putting up a lot of resistence. We found our stride in the winner bracket final as we sweeped #1 NA seed Tempo Storm to meet Team Zealots in the Grand Final. This would become the closest and most exciting series of the tournament, decided by the last team fight on the last map. In the end, we emerged victorious and secured our Heroes of the Storm team's third victory at IEM Katowice in a row.
