DIG CSGO Fe sign new contracts
Today we're proud to announce that we've re-signed our Women's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team on their one-year anniversary of joining Team Dignitas. The news comes in the middle of the Intel Challenge Katowice, where the team looks to take home the lion's share of $50,000 and a world champion.
The group will continue to compete in coed and women's CS:GO competitions worldwide. Team Dignitas' squad includes Team Captain and AWPer Emmalee “EMUHLEET” Garrido from California; entry fraggers Amanda “rain” Smith and Mounira “Goosebreeder” Dobie from Canada; lurker Carolyn “artStar” Noquez from California and our newest member, Kiara “Milk” Makua from Hawaii.

Since its inception of the women's squad, Team Dignitas Women's CS:GO team has gone on to claim the first place title in the Girl Gamer Festival Macau, second place at the Intel Challenge at IEM Katowice 2017 as well as top-three finishes in the Copenhagen Games and a Spring Esports Arena event. Additionally, the team qualified for the ESEA Intermediate playofs last season, while maintaining a 7-2 record this season.
Captain EMUHLEET commented on the team's journey and future with Team Dignitas:
This past year, my team and I have been working extremely hard to prove why we deserved to be picked up by such a respected organization like Team Dignitas. We are going into 2018 with very high expectations for ourselves and are proud to continue our journey with Team Dignitas and the dynamic HBSE family.
We started our Team Dignitas journey with a second-place finish at Intel Challenge Katowice 2017, followed by a championship title at the Girl Gamer Festival Macau. We're incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to travel internationally and represent Team Dignitas, a reminder of the growing esports landscape.
The team has already advanced to the 2018 Intel Challenge Katowice Semi-Finals in Katowice, Poland. Last year, Team Dignitas placed second. The competition is the most prestigous in the women's circuit and features a $50,000 prize pot.
We forward to supporting the team as they continue to improve over the coming year!
