Gamescom Announcement recap: New Overwatch Map - Eichenwalde

It's Gamescom week and as usual Blizzard has some new content for us. 

Animated short: The last Bastion

You can watch the new Animated Short: The last Bastion on Thursday, 18th at 18:00pm CET on the Blizzard live stream. This Animated short will be about Bastion - duh.

New Map: Eichenwalde

Blizzard just announced the first new map for Overwatch after release and it will be Eichenwalde. Eichenwalde will take you to a German castle in the Black Forest. The Black Forest is also the origin of Bastion, so this map is related to him. The developer also said that this map will be very vertical and provides new gameplay styles. From the video and screenshots we can guess that Eichenwalde will be a Payload map. If you are at Gamescom this week you can already test the new map. For everyone else the map will be released in September.
