Patch 5.6 Champion Picks: Top 20 EUW Solo Queue

In this post, we'll be discussing the top 20 EUW solo queue players, the three champions that they play the most along with win percentages, and and all their champions played combined with overall win percentages.
Just a warning. This post is intended to provide interesting statistics. The information provided shouldn't be used as a tier list. All data was taken from http://euw.op.gg/ranking/ladder/ on April 1st at 11:30 AM. The data is incredibly volatile due to the players consistently playing so player standings are prone to change as well as win rates.
Top 20 EUW Solo Queue

This first chart (above) provides information on the top 20 EUW solo queue players as of April 1st, 2015. It also displays their top 3 most played champions along with their win rates on those specific champions. The second chart (below) adds up ALL champions played by the top 20 Challengers to get an estimate of each champion's win rate in high challenger. In the second chart, all champions are listed except those with less than 10 games played.

These charts should NOT be used as a tier list. It's just information on what the top 20 Challengers in EUW are currently playing in solo queue. Data is skewed for multiple reasons, specifically due to champion's being nerfed.
Let's discuss some of the more interesting information in these two images as well as some random, fun facts.
1) Top 20 EUW Challengers have far more games than Top 20 NA Challengers overall.
2) Graves is by far the most popular champion played by a significant margin. Graves has 400 more games played than the next most played champion (Lee Sin at 377).
3) Nearly every top 20 challenger player has at least a few Graves games played.
4) There are more ADC mains in the top 20 EUW vs NA.
5) Only looking at champions with at least 30 games played, these are the highest win rates for champions in each role. ADC : Sivir (67%). Support : Karma (67%). Jungle : Gragas (71%). Middle lane : Kassadin (66%). Top lane : Riven (66%).
6) Surprisingly, a lot of Cinderhulk champion's aren't seeing as much play as one would expect. Most likely, these champion's are probably perma banned in this elo OR there aren't very many jungle mains in this elo.
7) Some of the data is skewed (e.g. the vast majority of Riven games are from one person).
8) NNNaru and godzukée have both played more unique champions than any other top 20 Challenger (55 different champions).
9) 70 champions are on this list and there are 124 champions in League of Legends. That means 56% of all champions have seen at least 10 games worth of play in high challenger. In comparison, as of 5.5, 59% of all champions have seen play in NA high challenger.
10) Many high priority jungle picks (e.g. Vi) seem to see very little play in this elo. She's either banned quite often or not seen as a threat.
11) Out of the 10 most played champions, 4 are ADC champions. 3 are Middle lane champions. 1 is a Jungle champion. The last one is a Top lane champion.
12) Some of the champions with the highest win-rates have small sample sizes which is obvious. It's most likely those champion win-rates would balance out with more games played.
Thanks for reading everyone and I'll be creating an updated champions picks for NA soon! I'll also be creating one for KR!
