Champions that your Grandmother Would Love

It's no secret that the primary audience of League of Legends is teenagers and young adults. With twenty-seven million daily active players, the League scene grows bigger every day but the demographic stays stagnant. Recently, I attempted to get my grandmother to begin watching the LCS with me as she loves video games but she just couldn't catch on.
Since then, I've had one question stuck in my head: what champions could my grandmother fall in love with? After lots of debating and taking notes, I believe that I have found a few champions that any grandmother could fall in love with.
Lux, the Lady of Luminosity

Cinderella is one of the most classic stories of all time and I can remember watching it more than once with my grandmother as a child. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that this classic is beloved by the entire family. That being said, I've always viewed Lux as an homage to Cinderella but with lazer beams. In my humble opinion, lazer beams can make any character far superior to the next and Lux shows us why. Instead of running away at midnight like Cinderella does, Lux will snare you right in front of her before shooting out her ultimate, Final Spark, into your face and killing you. I know for a fact that my grandmom would respect the guts and moxy of this champion.
Twisted Fate, the Card Master

Around the 1950's, one actor seemed to dominate Hollywood: John Wayne. For those of you who don't know him, John Wayne was the original cowboy hero in movies. My grandfather watches his movies religiously and I've learned about all of the women of that generation who had the hots for this cowboy superstar. That being said, I think that Twisted Fate covers this handsome cowboy stereotype extremely well. From his hat to his beard to his duster, Twisted Fate is a cowboy. In addition to that, Twisted Fate represents gambling and mystery which are two things that can attract fun, interesting people, just like your grandmothers.
Corki, the Daring Bombarier
Charles Lindburgh flew across the Atlantic in 1927, which is probably way before your grandparents were born. However, the spirit of his flight was locked into the hearts of America for a long time after that. Even into the 50's and 60's, it was difficult to fly over the ocean. Corki brings back not only the spirit of Lindburgh and the good old days but of the heroes that they grew up respecting. In both World Wars, biplanes were an important tool for heroes around the world and Corki holds that spirit. While he may not be everyone's favorite yordle, Corki represents a spirit of heroism that comes once in a million. If your grandmother can find that in him, she is sure to love him.
