Counter Logic Gaming vs Cloud 9

Jayce  | |  Kennen
Elise  | |  Lee Sin
Orianna  | |  Zed
Tristana  | |  Ezreal
Janna  | |  Lulu

The game started with both teams deep warding their enemies Red Buff, but when Cloud 9's Balls backed on top of a ward in CLG's jungle, and Cloud 9 was still trying for a red invade, CLG managed to force a 4v5 that went in their favor 2-0, giving Link first blood, and another kill to Nien. CLG then stole blue, and over the next 4 minutes attempted to gank Balls 3 times in the bottom lane. At 8 minutes in, CLG's top turret went down due to the constant pushing from Lulu and Ezreal, surpassing CLG in gold. However, CLG answered with a dragon, giving them the gold lead back. Cloud 9 found an undefended turret in the bot lane at 11 minutes, and a great flash kick by Meteos onto Bigfatjiji gave Cloud9 their first kill of the game, and a 1k gold league. At 14 minutes, Tristana caught out Zed in the bot lane with no ult, and picked him up, and another dragon by CLG created an even game.

At 22 minutes, the third dragon of the game respawned, and CLG pressured with 4 while Doublelift took the mid turret. Cloud 9 eventually went on dragon after about a minute of poking back and forth, but bigfat managed to steal at the cost of his life, which gave cloud 9 a free inner mid turret. Then, Ezreal and Kennen were caught at the enemy blue, and CLG got 2 kills and a top turret to get a 1k gold league. At 27 minutes in, Tristana was caught out pushing bot by herself, and Cloud 9 responded with a 5 man push top. The 4 of CLG responded, and actually managed to win the fight for the turret, going 2-1 and getting three (yes, three) bot turrets, giving them a 3k gold advantage.

CLG then decided to push bottom, which gave Cloud 9 a free baron and a kill onto Bigfat who tried to engage, but in the next three minutes, CLG took baron and found a kill onto an overextended Kennen. Cloud 9's Baron eventually ran out with no objectives taken. The next time Baron was up, CLG took it for a 1-1. CLG then pressured the enemies open inhibitor, and after a catch onto Meteos who took a step too far, CLG grabbed an bot and mid inhibitor. Chauster got caught out at baron, and CLG timing the baron a minute too early cost them their mid inhibitor, but the resulting fight was won 4-0, and CLG managed to push down the Nexus for the first defeat of Cloud 9.

The game started with TSM deep warding the enemies red, with no response from Velocity. The domination over red side jungle gave Wildturtle's Caitlyn first blood onto a warding Evaniskus, and a red buff, while The Oddone took his own red. At 5:50, Wildturtle managed to take top turret down in a 2v2, and was 30 cs up on Maplestreet, and TSM managed to kill Chris in the botlane with a gank from The Oddone, and a couple of minutes later, The Oddone killed Vileroze in the midlane after a failed Command: Shockwave. Xpecial and Wildturtle then killed Cris in the botlane and bot tower, AND a dragon, giving TSM a 5k gold league, at 9 minutes. However, TSM tried to repeat that sucess in mid lane, but a Varus ultimate caught out TSM, and the resulting fight went 2-2, showing Velocity was still in the game. Velocity then pushed mid turret, but a respawned Karthus and a very low health Zac reengaged, going 3-0 for a Zac passive, and a 7k gold lead.

Karthus then got caught in the top lane, but stiill managed to kill Cris, and TSM responded to 3 in the top lane by getting a kill (mid tower dive) and the bot and mid inner turrets. A dragon fight shortly after went 3-0 for TSM and the dragon, making the gold lead 11k. Evaniskus then engaged 1 against 4 on TSM with no backup, giving TSM the last inner turret. TSM then baited Velocity to contesting baron, went 4-1, with a 13k gold lead. A random fight in mid had TSM go 3-2, and then Vileroze got caught, and then TSM killed 3 more and mid inhibitor. Velocity respanwed and reengaged, and TSM killed 4 of them, and another inhibitor turret, 17k gold lead. A fight for the exposed inhibitor saw TSM go 4-0 and a nexus.

This game started out unlike the other games so far this week, with both teams preferring to ward rivers and their own jungle. The game started of with a lane swap by Curse, and both junglers went to their double lane to take the tower at 3:40. However, because Vulcun had their duo in the bottom lane, they started a dragon after letting creeps finish off the turret, and took a four minute dragon. Afterwards, Saintvicious, Edward, and Cop tried to dive bottom tower, but a collapse by Xmithie and MandatoryCloud let them pick up two kills for none. Later, after Nyjacky ulted onto Mancloud to push him out of lane, Xmithie used the cooldown to his advantage to fight Saintvicious at his red, killing him and stealing red, while Curse couldn't fight. This gives Vulcun a 3k gold lead.

14 minutes in, a 4v4 in mid lane has Curse use all of their engages onto Zuna, and manage to only damage him, while losing Saintvicious, the mid turret, and Dragon due to the rest of Curse being low. Curse recalls, and oressure mid turret while Zuna is off farming bot, but Vucun initiates 4v5, and manage to ace Cruse while only losing Xmithie, and grabbed inner mid tower and outer top tower, and eventually, all inner and outer towers. Then, after almost 10 minutes of not fighting, Xmithie gets a beautiful kick to Jacky into the middle of the team, and Vulcun goes 4-0 in the resulting fight, getting mid and top inhibitors. Cop then gets caught out, and got a baron off the back, and took bot inhibitor, and Vulcun started pushing the Nexus turrets. Curse engaged, and went 2-0, pushing back Vulcun. However, Vulcun respawned, took out any respawned inhibitors, and won the game off of a last dersperation fight by Curse.

The game started with both teams warding the enemy wraith camp, and Patoy warding Coast's red. At 3:30, Crumbzz and Nintendude both showed up at bot lane to push towers, and neutralized each other's presence. At 7 minutes in, Coast finally pushed down the mid tower, but thanks to Dig's CS lead, the gold stayed even. 9 minutes in, a Thresh Hook and a TF ultimate give Dignitas first blood and bottom tower, and a timely tower shot let Kiwikid execute himself rather then die to a collapsing Coast, and gives Dig a comfortable 1.5k gold lead. At 11 minutes, a Thresh hook onto Blitz pells doom for Daydreaming, and a resulting fight has Coast winning 3-2 with a great Rumble Ulitmate onto Dig's backline. Coast then picks up a dragon, and goes 1 for 1 after Zed and TF dive in to stop it. At 14 minutes, Scarra and Crumbzz dive Jayce in the top lane, and QTpie and Patoy get mid turret, but at the same time, Zionspartan manages to solo kill Kiwikid. More action happens, and a 5v4 fight gets Dig a kill at the cost of their mid turret. Dig then gets a free dragon a while later.

21 minutes in, a great TF ult and Scarra's fearsome Zed get them a kill on Rumble, and a couple minutes later, Scarra manages to 1v1 Rumble, and Dignitas pushes both the side lane inner turrets while defending mid with Crumbzz, QTpie, and Patoy, giving Dig a 6k gold lead. A catch onto Blitzcrank gives Dig a free dragon, but then Coast dives the mid inhibitor tower, kills 2, and gets mid inhibitor while Scarra gets the bottom inhibitor turret. Dignitas then rushes a baron, but loses two in the cleanup fight for nothing. Scarra then pushes the bottom lane, gets the inhibitor, and finds a kill onto Nintendude in a 2v1 situation. A sloppy yet effective TF Ultimate engages a fight for Dignitas, and they go 3-0 while minions push down onto the nexus turrets and kill one. Dignitas then just ends the game. DIGNITAS FIGHTING.

Level 1 had Cloud9 deepwarding both of Vulcun's buffs, and Sycho Sid sneaking in to ward the enemies blue. Level 2 however, Bloodwater and Xmithie stole Meteos' red, and Meteos responded by pushing his top lane with his adc/support for an uncontested tower. Instead of recalling though, they chose to push down the inner top turret, while Vulcun pushed the outer bot, giving Cloud9 a one turret advantage. A fight mid gives Vulcun first blood for a 1-1 trade. At 11 minutes, Cloud9 forces Zuna to base and goes for a dragon, and get it, but lose three members in the process after a great Xmithie kick onto Kennen, and evened up the gold. As Cloud 9 respawn, they push the mid turret down and get a 1k gold advantage  unasnwered. Then, Kennen and Rumble force bottom and dive Kog, getting the kill, but a TF ultimate to clean up gets MandatoryCloud a double kill, and they find a kill onto Thresh in the midlane about a minute later. When Dragon spawns, Cloud9 takes it uncontested as Vulcun try to push mid, but a great Rumble/Kennen ultimate nets them 2 kills and the inner mid tower, but only a 2k gold advantage.

Vulcun then counterpushed mid lane, take the outer turret, and dive Meteos, as Cloud9 just watches, and Vulcun repeat that sucess again onto Hai a couple of minutes later while Cloud9 takes an outer bot tower and dragon as Vulcun has to back thanks to their low healthbars, though Zuna pushes top lane turret down. 34 minutes in, Kennen flash engages onto Kog and Lee Sin, picking up both, and getting a baron and killing Twisted Fate who tries to steal, and CLoud9 gets a 4k gold advantage. With their shiny new baron buff, Cloud9 dives inner bot turret, and kills two and the bottom inhibitor, then after a dragon and going to base, the mid inhibitor. Cloud9 then gets a baron, but Bloodwater gets a baron steal with a rank 1 tornado, that dealt 90 damage. After about 10 minuts of stalling by Vulcun, Cloud9 pushes the mid lane, and engage for a fight where they go 5-0, and close out the game.

The game started with TSM warding CLG's blue, and using that ward to pressure the level 1 blue by jiji with their bot lane, but CLG collapses and gets first blood onto Wildturtle, but Wildturtle gets an unassisted kill onto Link. The next few minutes are just farming, until 5 minutes in when a death scentence by Thresh gets TSM a kill onto Doublelift. Across the map, Twisted Fate ults onto Jayce for a kill, but a requiem finishes off a very low health Nien. CLG repeats this a couple minutes later, along with a Nocturne ult, and Dyrus dies, but with three top, TSM takes a free dragon. Afterwards, CLG and Link again go for the Dyrus kill, but a requiem and a hidden Cho'Gath make it a 1-1 trade.

Finally at 15 minutes, the first tower falls as Dyrus and The Oddone force Nien out of lane, but doublelift answers with the bottom tower. To answer though, TSM pushes down CLG's bottom tower. Nien gets a solo kill on Dyrus with a shiny new sunfire cape, and CLG gets a dragon a minute later, and evens out the gold, and then top tower and a kill onto Reginald in the midlane by Nocturne and TF gets CLG an almost 1k advantage. TSM then spies a TF in the mid lane with no ultimate, and push top lane inner down, and TF gets the outer mid TSM turret. TSM then pushes the inner mid turret, and after destroying it, begin to pressure the inhibitor turret 5v3 as Nien and Link were both solo pushing. Reginald attempts a dive, but gets seperated from his team and dies for nothing, as Link gets the inner bot turret and CLG groups for a dragon with no Reginald on the map, and then Link secures a solo kill onto Reginald who just respawned to go push out bottom lane. Everyone returns to farming until a few minutes later, when Chauster and Bigfat catch Dyrus in the jungle, and find him as Nien barely escapes trying to fend off the enemy team from coming to support Dyrus. TSM waits for Dyrus, then pushes up the mid lane as Malphite is pushing solo, and gets the inhibitor turret, but a homeguard malphite initation starts a fight that goes 4-1 in favor of CLG, and take Baron and secure a kill onto the Oddone, but Doublelift, bigfat and Nien die to a respawned TSM, and TSM takes mid inhibitor and a dragon, but CLG has a 5k gold advantage.

TSM then takes the inner bot turret as Doublelift was pushing the top lane by himself, but Nien initiates onto Wildturtle and Karthus when Doublelift rejoins them, and ace TSM while only losing Nien. TSM tries to take a respawned mid inhibitor, but another beautiful Nien initiation gets them a 4-1 fight, and a mid inhibitor, making the gold lead 10k. After a long baron dance, CLG staggers into a free baron, but a messy teamfight sees a 3-4 trade that was saved only by a Twisted Fate ultimate that picked up a Triplekill as TSM retreated to their base being pushed down by super minions, and doublelift goes to TSM's nexus and pushes it down by himself.

Zed  | |  Riven
 Nasus  | |  Jarvan IV
 Xerath  | |  Lissandra
 Varus  | |  Draven
 Thresh  | |  Nami

The game starts with both teams warding the enemies blue buff, and a small level 1 skirmish saw NK Inc being late to his red buff after he tried to pressure Nintendude off of Coast's blue, but failed. The lanes start with early aggression as Thresh picks up first blood onto Dontmashme, who goes too aggressive after a Nami Q hits both. The next action occurs in mid lane, as Shiphtur hits level 6 and locks up Xerath with his ultimate and Jarvan IV comes to help, but Vileroze turns onto Lissandra, kills her, and then died to J IV. 10 minutes in, Zionspartan is dove by Zed and Xerath, and dies, giving Velocity top turret, but Nasus is caught out in his own jugle by Lissandra and Jarvan, getting Coast a dragon, and a kill onto Xerath who was trying to scout it. Dontmashme then dies in lane again, and gives up bottom tower, but Coast gets a free kill onto Xerath in mid, but Velocity gets inner mid as Coast backs away to get blue. 17 minutes in, after some failed ganks by both sides, Coast gets engaged on by Velocity, and has to fall back and give Velocity a free dragon.

Maplestreet is caught farming bot, prompting a towerdive onto the mid outer, and goes 3-2 in the resulting fight, and their first tower of the game. The two teams then trade Coast's inner mid for Velocity's upper top, and then inner top for outer bot, and then inner bot for dragon, all of Coast's recent turrets being from ZionSpartan's splitpushing. The two teams group around Baron, but Thresh is caught out and dies, tying up the gold. A couple of minutes later, Coast sucesfully baits out Baron, and initiates onto Velocity going 4-0 and taking Baron. With Baron, Coast gets Dragon and inner bot turret for a 5k gold lead, but Zionspartan is caught and his GA popped. After some funky manuvering, Velocity starts baron to the surprise of an unprepared Coast, but Coast gets there right before Baron goes down, and a huge Lissandra engage self-ultimate locks up the entire enemy team into a Riven and Draven ult AOE, while nintendude steals Baron and a perfect ace means a 9k gold advantage and a mid inhibitor and one nexus turret before backing. Zionspartan overextends in the top lane though, and dies. When Zion respawns, Coast pushes the bottom inhibitor turret, and Zion catches out Zed in the mid lane clearing out super minions, meaning a free bot inhibitor for Coast after Shiphtur dives Evaniskus and goes 1-1. With a 4 vs 3, Coast takes the nexus for the win.

The game begins with some level 1 skirmishing in river, and a level 1 pull onto Curse's blue buff, but Saintvicious steals Dig's blue with the help of his botlane since Dig has their duo up in top. At 3:30, Crumbzz dives Voyboy under his tower giving Qtpie first blood, but dies to tower since Nocturne showed up, cutting off the shorter escape route, but across the map, Kiwikid dies to Ezreal. At 8 minutes, Saintvicious with a Voyboy ult dives Qtpie for the kill, ans Curse picks up a dragon for top turret, and Curse only has a minimal gold lead. At 10:30, Edward engages onto Qtpie, but Crumbzz in the wings turns the fight and picks up a kill onto Edward and a bottom turret, which Saintvicious dies trying to defend, and wastes both the Shen and Karthus ultimate trying to help him, but Shen kills Jayce with the help of Requiem.

A few minutes later, Qtpie dies after a Saintvicious gank, but Dig respond with a mid outer turret. At 15:30, Dignitas forces a dragon in order to stop Voyboy's split pushing, which just took down top outer, but a good AOE teamfight by Curse sees them going 3-1 and bot turret and dragon, and a 3k gold lead. As Dig respawns, they find Edward and get a kill, but Scarra is caught a minute later, and the resulting fight goes 2-1 favoring curse and bot and top inner turrets, and a 5k gold lead. Eventually, Curse takes outer mid as well. A fight in mid goes 1-3 in favor of Curse, and gives Curse baron and dragon. At 26 minutes in, Dignitas bait out both the Nocturne and Shen ultimate, but the resulting fight goes 3-1 and loses bot inhibitor and 2 additional kills, netting a 12k gold lead. A 2-1 fight gets Curse the remaining inhibitors, Dig saving only the bottom inhibitor. Curse then gets a free baron, the last inhibitor, the respawned bottom inhibitor. Another 3-1 fight has Curse closing out the game.
