The New Ultimate Skin: Who is Next in Line?

There has been much talk of the upcoming ultimate skin, as well as many speculations. People have said it could be anything from a mythical Ahri to Dragon Master Swain. Unfortunately, for those who are hopeful for an ultimate Swain skin, Morello replied to a post saying “It is not. Not this one.” (Have hope my friends!)

So what could this new fancy skin be?

Two crucial clues have been leaked for us:

1. The fourth letter of one of the champions spells will be E
2. The champion will be a melee champion.

So, here is a list of champions who fit that description.

Volibear: Majestic Roar
Vi: Excessive Force

So taking a look at these, we can possibly narrow down the mystery.

Xin Zhao and Volibear both just received skins. This makes the probability of either of them getting a skin very slim, but not impossible. Nidalee also just had the Headhunter skin released, as well as Blitzcrank’s iBlitz.

Vi, Diana, and Jayce are all fairly new champions compared to the rest on the list. I could see Diana or Jayce being due for a skin, but not Vi. Though very popular, she was released not too long ago.

With talk of spirit, Udyr or possibly Mordekaiser also some options. However, Lee Sin has been fairly popular in recent play. Lee Sin is currently ranked at about 30% popularity, compared to Udyr’s 4%. Many people seem to agree with this as well. Talk about Spirit Shaman Udyr are spreading around like wildfire.

Personally, I would be excited to see an Udyr skin. I do not play him much, but I think he deserves a flashy new skin. I was really hoping for an Ahri skin, but the odds are not looking too good for me. Either way, I am excited to see what Riot has brewed up for us!
