This month the online Brazilian Qualifiers took place and I've decided to give you a rundown of what happened so far. It was a chance for local teams to show what they are capable of and take a shot on an event worth $80000 in prizes. There was a total of four qualifiers, every weekend, each worth US$5000 and a seed on the Brazilian LoL Championship, which should happen from October 11th to 14th in São Paulo, on the biggest Latin America games fair, the Brazil Game Show.

Also, teams who made it through the quarter finals added up points and the best four earned themselves a spot in the finals together with a $2500 prize.

 Brazilian Qualifiers Recap

First Qualifier - National ESL

First one was held by National ESL on September 1st - 2nd. It was a pretty decent event, everything went smoothly with the help of the Tournament Code tool. The main games were streamed by ESL casters and reached around 5000 viewers.

1st place: paiN Razer Gaming (US$5000 + Seed #1)

2nd place: Vince Te Ipsum Nox (200 points)

3rd place: Insight e-Sports (125 points)

4th place: VerdicT Gaming (75 points)

5th - 8th places: Advanced Gaming, Shockwave Alpha, get over it and Vince Te Ipsum Ignis Corsair (50 points)

Second Qualifier - Legends Union

Held by LegendsUnion.com.br on September 8th - 9th, the second qualifiers had a little delay problem on updating the brackets after each match, clearly because the lack of the Tournament Code tool. It was solved by a fast and efficient administrators team which had to manually update all the games that counted with around 400 teams. LU casters streamed the games and reached over 6000 viewers.

1st place: Insight e-Sports (US$5000 + Seed #2)

2nd place: Vince Te Ipsum Nox (200 points)

3rd place: Vince te Ipsum Ignis (125 points)

4th place: Alien Brotherhood (75 points)

5th - 8th places: 5LoL Diretoria, get over it, CNB e-Sports Club, Frontline (50 points)

Third Qualifier - LegendsBR

The third qualifier was held by LegendsBR.com.br on September 15th - 16th. The organizers built up a tournament system which appeared to be quite interesting, but sadly it didn't work properly and made some mistakes on the brackets. That and the fact that a few teams were ignoring the organizer's rules ended up pissing off Riot, which took care of the situation by cancelling that weekends' qualifier and adding its prize to the fourth one.

No winners.

Fourth Qualifier - National ESL

Once again held by ESL, the fourth qualifier happened on September 22th - 23th and started a bit later than expected, with a delay of approximately 20 minutes. The event started but the brackets were wrongly made. NESL team took the brackets off quickly and asked the teams who started their games already to quit and work on the real bracket, which was updated right after. After a few minutes, the problem was solved and the qualifier was back on track and happened smoothly until the end.

After the cancellation of the third qualifier, this last one had to be modified to give teams a better chance to show their potential: unlike the other qualifiers, it lasted three days instead of only two, and had an Upper and a Lower bracket after the quarter-finals.

1st place: Vince Te Ipsum Ignis Corsair (US$5000 + Seed #3)

2nd place: get over it - winner of the Lower Bracket but lost to vTi Ignis (Also US$5000 + Seed #4)

3rd place: Influxo Gaming (200 points)

4th place: Monomaniac e-Sports (125 points)

5th - 8th places: Magos Bolados, Rio Grande do Sul, 5Lol Diretoria, Starwon Gaming (50 points)
