Cruz 'CruzerTheBruzer' Ogden has played League of Legends for a very long time and is best known for his Lee Sin. After taking a solid 3rd place, losing to Curse and Team SoloMid, Cruzer and his team, LegioN, are preparing for the next tournament in Raleigh.

We caught up with him for an interview about the upcoming tournaments and more. Enjoy the read below.

How did you feel when coming into the tournament?

CruzerTheBruzer: A little nervous, but loosened up after a couple games.

Team Legion came in as an underdog, but managed to take 3rd place. I believe you are also qualified for the Season 2 Championship. Did you and your team expect such great results?

CruzerTheBruzer: There’s a high chance we’re qualified for season 2 as long as something crazy doesn’t happen at Raleigh. We knew we had to take 4th or better to get in really good shape to qualify for regionals. I believe if we get 8th or above at Raleigh we’re 100% in. I didn’t expect us to beat WE but a lot of our team members actually played them a year ago or something and didn’t fear them too much [hard to judge on something that happened a year ago I think].

Your team seemed to play a lot of scrims a week before the tournament started. Do you plan on scheduling more time practice before the next tournament?

CruzerTheBruzer I don’t think we scrimmed a lot the week before. Hopefully we start before Raleigh especially with pr0lly coming back.

All the teams in this tournament are among the best. Who did you expect to be the most difficult opponent?

CruzerTheBruzer: I personally thought World Elite or TSM.

Playing in a LAN tournament is much different from an online one because of the surroundings. How did you stay comfortable in a new place?

CruzerTheBruzer: It just takes getting used to, it’s the same game just different environment.

Legion has not participated in many big tournaments so far. Did this tournament give your team a boost in morale to continue competing?

CruzerTheBruzer: We’re always trying to compete, it’s just a matter of qualifying. But I definitely think this is a morale boost to try harder to qualify and practice more because we have potential to be really, really good.

Gragas is a very unpopular and unexpected pick, yet WildTurtle played phenomenally with him. Do you think Legion will have a secret weapon for the next tournament?

CruzerTheBruzer:  Pr0lly is our secret weapon for the next tournament :P
