Win Lane, Win Game

Through the trials of Solo Queue you may hear various things to help you win. These tricks, or "cheese", can definitely increase your chances of winning. No matter what trick you may use, one rises above all others, win your lane. Winning your lane greatly increases your chances of putting pressure on the other team and over all, greatly increases your chances of winning the game.

Now winning your lane may seem a lot harder then it sounds but if you learn ways to do this effectively it comes a lot easier and can make some dramatic changes in your games.

A few things on this list can help in effectively winning your lane:

1. Counter Hitting: This trick is all about punishing the enemy when they come in for a last hit. Whether it is an auto attack or an ability, you deliver swift punishment for the enemy getting that gold. This tactic can effectively zone out your enemy. There are a few things to keep in mind to do this correctly. When you attack your enemy their minions will focus you so when you go in for the counter hit, you will have to take the minion damage in return. You have to keep in mind that if their wave is big enough, you may even take more damage than your enemy. The last thing you want is to take more punishment than your enemy laner.

2. Freezing: Freezing the lane can easily zone out the enemy if done correctly. If the lane is pushing towards your tower, sacrifice the health to keep the minions at a safe distance so you aren't last hititng under tower. This also zones out the enemy from getting last hits in fear of getting hit by the tower.

 

3. Jungle Pressure: This one may sound really obvious but dont be afraid to ask your jungler for help in your lane. Remind them without using colorful language or insulting terms that your lane is open for ganks. You also need to make sure that you do your part for the jungler. Respond to their ganks properly and be sure to set up the best gank possible for the jungle.

4. Pushing Your Advantage: When you officially have an advantage, you need to lay down the harrass to make sure that you keep on zoning your opponent. Bully your enemy and push them out of lane. This will give you levels and gold ahead of your opponent and give you the extra edge in the game
