Life’s Great Question: Trinity or Infinity?
Bottom lane, a world that seems split off from the rest of the game until after laning phase. It is a very simple place when it come to champions, there aren't to many different champions in the pool. Now as we know there are few AD carries for this lane. Within these AD carries are staple builds that never really seem to vary.
However, there are two exceptions, Corki and Ezreal. These bursty carries have very good synergy to stray away from the norm and build a Trinity Force. The argument of which is better (Infinity Edge build versus Trinity Force build) has existed for ages but the question still lies, which is better to build? To determine this we need to go deeper than damage. We need to go into the laning and over all pace of the game.
How do I decide?
1. First Buy.Well let us start from the first seconds of the game. Your first buy generally wouldn’t be something to influence your future shop purchases since it is most likely going to be Boots + 3 Potions or a Doran’s Blade. The factors to influence your decision begins at the first minion wave. How aggressive is the other carry being? Are you last hitting well? How are your other lanes doing? These are all questions to ask yourself to determine what build to go.

2. Your Lane. If you are bullying the other AD into missing their last hits and just walking all over your lane, you should consider a Trinity. The extra burst it gives every 3 seconds plus the utility it could bring in lane for escapes or helping your jungle gank can really help you snowball even harder.
Make sure that your last hits are around the 10 per minute mark before you consider Trinity seeing as it is a very costly item. If you are far behind in lane and need to catch up, Trinity probably isn’t the item you will need seeing as you will need more definite damage over utility. Now that you have assessed your lane, time to look at the others
3. Teams Lane. This is the point where you use your judgement on other lanes as another factor to your Trinity/Infinity decision. If your other lanes are equal or winning, Trinity would be a good choice. The utility would be more efficient for the rest of your team if they are doing well or winning along with the big damage that it delivers. On the other hand, if your other lanes are losing it will be up to you to carry your team to victory. This can be achieved using the standard Infinity Edge build for AD carries.
4. Final Factors. Moving more so into the mid game when you need to start building your bigger items, weigh the options of damage or utility. Will you need the burst and the slow procs or do you need the extra critical hits and attack speed to hit harder? Are you more helpful providing utility to help the rest of your team do the damage you will lack or are you going to need to hard carry your team? Thats when you use the questions from earlier to decide what you need. Keep these in mind whenever you are trying to decide your build choices to achieve maximum efficiency.
I hope this helped you sort out your decisions and make the best choice!
