Halloween in Hearthstone: Boo Zoo

Every 31st of October, all the ghosts, ghouls, witches, and demons come out of hiding to scare and terrorize the living. Hearthstone has many ghost and ghouls that love to spook people! You can bring this terror upon your friends with the Halloween-themed deck in this article!

Boo Zoo is my casual Warlock list, based off the competitive list Zoo Warlock. Boo Zoo has some similarities to the competitive list, such as being minion-heavy and having a low mana curve; however, this list is special in that it has the spirit of Halloween living in it!

My Boo Zoo list is below:

Let’s break down this frightening list. If you get too scared, cover your eyes!

Spooky Spells

-Soulfire: A flaming soul is pretty scary. The fact that it can come out of nowhere is even scarier.
-Power Overwhelming: The witches have brewed quite the potion. Beware, it comes at a cost!

Menacing Minions

-Wisp: OOooooOO! These ghosts are so scary because they cost no mana! No one will ever see them coming!
-Flame Imp: These imps are busy lighting everything on fire! Be careful though, they might light more than your jack-o-lantern on fire!
-Leper Gnome: He’s ugly, diseased, and a strong candidate to be the witch’s husband. Eww.
-Undertaker: Caretaker of the underworld. With every death that rattles, he becomes even scarier, and he likes being scary!
-Voidwalker: Straight from the darkness, this demon is ready to taunt anything that tries to stop your zombies, imps, and ghosts from causing mischief!
-Zombie Chow: BRAINS!!!! This zombie just crawled out of the grave, and is looking for some candy (or candied brains) to eat!
-Haunted Creeper: What’s scarier than a giant spider? A giant spider that makes more spiders. That’s enough to make your opponent’s skin crawl.
-Nerub’ar Weblord: So the priests and paladin think their battle cry will stop our terror train? They're DEAD wrong! This spider will catch all of them in a web!
-Succubus: She uses her attractiveness to lure in naïve trick or treaters. Then she shows them the greatest trick of their lives.
-Deathlord: He’s the lord of death. What else is there to say?
-Flesheating Ghoul: He doesn’t want your opponent’s candy. He wants the meat off their bones!
-Imp Master: She loves Halloween. It’s the one day of the year she doesn’t have to babysit all those pesky imps.
-Spectral Knight: A giant ghost with a sword. I’d run far, far away. There’s no too much you can do to escape this meanie!
-Stalagg: He thinks he is awesome. It’s true, he’s pretty awesome at being scary. Your opponent will run in terror once they see this baddie on the board!

General Deck Tips

- The Undertaker is the lord of this deck. Be sure to boost his confidence by playing your deathrattle minions freely.
-Succubus and Soulfire can damped your spookiness by causing you to leave a card behind. Clearing out your hand can make their terror the most efficient!
-Be careful with Nerub’ar Weblord! While he can stop those pesky priests and paladins from bringing their holy light to your nightmare night, he can also increase the cost of your Succubus’ tricks!
-The Flesheating Ghoul can get pretty big, but he’s still made of decaying flesh and bones. Put him behind a taunting minion to protect him!
-Power Overwhelming is great to add some additional damage! Be careful on which minion you give the potion, as some of their deathrattles will help your opponent!

I hope you enjoyed this spooky decklist! Try this list to have your opponent howling in fear! Be sure to be safe while having a fun trick or treating time this week! - Yusnaan
