de_dust2 Smoke Guide

In this guide I go over some basic smoke grenade spots for the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive map de_dust2. Smokes are useful because they can limit the enemy's vision, stop pushes, and much more. 

 

Terrorist Smokes:

Smoke #1:

This smoke smokes off CT-Spawn when thrown from A-long. To throw this smoke, line up your crosshair right below the red sign,then make sure that the light-post is not visible, after that run and throw the smoke grenade. 

 

Smoke #2:

This smoke grenade allows you to take B-site easier. If someone is playing in the corner of B-site this will limit their vision and allows terrorists to push without any issues. To perform this smoke, simply line up the smoke grenade with the wallpaper and run and throw it.

 

Smoke #3:

This smoke grenade smokes off window in B-site. This is great for terrorists who are trying to hold B-site post bomb plant. To perform this smoke, you have to line yourself up in the corner by the boxes. After doing so proceed to aim above the dome right above B window then throw the smoke grenade. 

 

Smoke #4:

If you plan on smoking off x- box in middle this is a very easy smoke to do so. To perform this smoke place yourself in the corner by the boxes at A-long doors. After doing so, place your crosshair  on the second box and aim right above it. After you throw the smoke grenade, it should land on x-box. 

 

Smoke #5:

As a terrorist a mid to B-site execute is very common. To smoke off ct spawn stand next to x-box and place your crosshair on the window to the left of mid doors. After throwing the smoke grenade, it should land in front of ct-spawn. 

 

 

Counter-Terrorist Smokes:

Smoke #1:

  

If you plan on running into B tunnel, but there is an awper watching mid doors you can use this smoke to run into lower safely. To perform this smoke simply line up your crosshair in the middle of the box and three rows down then throw the smoke grenade.

 

Smoke #2:

If you are a counter-terrorist trying to retake B site and there is someone awping on platform this smoke is very useful. To perform this smoke go behind the box at B-doors. After you do this, line up your crosshairs right above the  buckle on the box. After throwing the smoke grenade it should land on the platform in B- site. 

 

Smoke #3:

If you are planning on retaking B- site as a counter-terrorist this smoke spot is very useful. To perform this smoke stand by the second scaffolding outside B- site, then line up your crosshair on the telephone-wire right under the  light-post. After throwing the smoke grenade and it should land by car.

 

Smoke #4:

This smoke is one of the fastest ways to smoke off A-long doors. To perform this smoke stand on top of the blue dumpster by CT-spawn, then line your crosshair up in the middle of the orange object and in the middle of the balcony. After throwing the smoke grenade it should land right in front of A-long doors. 

 

Smoke #5:

This smoke is an alternative smoke that also smokes off A-long doors. To perform this smoke place your crosshair in the middle of the balcony at A-long. After you throw the smoke grenade, it should land at A-long doors. 

 

Smoke #6:

If you plan on rushing mid as a counter-terrorist, but there is a terrorist watching mid-doors this smoke is very useful. To perform this smoke line up your crosshair to the left of the telephone pole and simply throw the smoke grenade. It should land suicide and block any awpers vision.
