Blog: Joining Team Dignitas - by steel

I'm so honoured once again to play for such a prestigious organisation. The past several months have been really stressful and we encountered a lot of really unfortunate circumstances but now finally I have another place to call home. It gives me great pleasure to be able to do it alongside hudzg, the most loyal person I know. He never turns his back on anybody and that is a great quality to have.

The rest of the squad is comprised of 3 other UK players. Pez, a long time friend of hudzg, has been around the block and I trust hudzg's guidance on the pickup. The other two players that I am fortunate to play with come in the form of som and vertigo, two very underrated UK players that have the drive and determination to be at the top of the scene with the right experience and guidance. I hope that I can be capable of shaping this team into an intimidating force but I need to be back to my proper form in a short period of time. I, however, have everything in motion that paves the way for this.

I have moved to London, UK and started working in IT at a great company. I have a beautiful flat and hit the trifector with joining Team Dignitas. I am upgrading my internet within the week which means I will be back to streaming as much as possible, casts whenever I get the chance to with my various casting friends (gonzo, rizc) and of course I will try to get videos, articles, and lessons going in whatever free time remains.

I know the lineup will be a shock to most people after all the things I say about wanting experienced players who are at the top of the game right now, but after recent experiences, those are the types of people that will abandon you at first chance. To be quite frank, it's just boring and tiring to invest so much energy trying to make things work with the wrong mix. ODEE and Team Dignitas share this same sense of family and goals and that is why I think this is a great mutual opportunity.

Only time will tell how truly strong we will be, but expect to see a glimpse of what we are capable of at the upcoming iseries in Telford, UK March 22 - 25.
