Back to the Classics: Four Proven T-side Strategies on de_dust2 to Take Over Bombsites

Dust II has been (and will forever remain) a classic Counter-Strike map. With its balanced playstyle meaning no team has any advantage over the other, it is no wonder this map has become such a staple of CS:GO competitive matches and is so loved and hated by the community. So without further ado, let's take a look at four fresh new ways of playing Dust II as a Terrorist.
 

A Split Play

The Purple Player

This player will be the entry fragger on long with an AWP. He will flash over doors, peek, and get a kill if anyone is there. After his teammates take control of long, he will stay either in pit or on the platform next to pit to both give assistance to the players pushing onto site as well as killing any CTs coming through long doors after the bomb has been planted.

The Orange Player

The orange player will push after purple, with green close behind him, clear out anyone behind long door, dumpster, and pit and then prepare to push onto site along with the players cat. After the bomb is planted, he will play on ramp watching short.

The Green Player

This player will be close to orange and take out any enemies that orange may not be able to. After they push onto site, he will plant the bomb for long and then play car, watching CT with the help of purple.

The Blue Player

This player will go cat along with yellow. He will be the first to push onto cat, he will kill anyone there, smoke off CT, and proceed to push onto site along with the long players.

The Yellow Player

This player will be right behind blue. He will smoke off mid doors and then proceed to camp next to cat stairs to catch any rotating CTs and to provide him with an easy place to peek from should the players on site need his help.

B Play with One Player Mid

The Yellow Player

This player lurks mid/top mid to catch off any rotating CTs coming from long doors, cat or mid. He will unite with the blue player and together push through mid. After bomb is planted, he will play back plat and assist the upper tunnels player if needed.

The Blue Player

This player will push straight into lower tunnels, eliminating any resistance there, then unite with the yellow player and go lower to mid to take out any CTs at window, B doors, or CT spawn while the rest of the team pushes through upper and plants the bomb. After the bomb is planted, he will play boxes outside of B doors.

The Green Player

This player will push along with the others into upper. However, unlike the others, he will camp in upper to take out anyone coming behind from mid to lower or T spawn. If the players on site need assistance, he can easily provide it through the upper tunnel opening.

The Orange Player

This player will push onto site along with the purple player and check Humvee, car, car boxes and site. After eliminating any CTs there, he will plant the bomb for upper where it can be easily watched by the green player. After the bomb is planted, he will play double stack on site, watching window.

The Purple Player

This player will help Orange push onto site, but he will check back plat, triple boxes, window and doors and kill any CTs waiting there. After the bomb is planted, he will play for B doors.
 

Mid to B Play

The Yellow Player

This player will go down mid and lurk at mid doors. After orange, green, and blue have pushed down mid, he should smoke CT and hang around the mid area to catch any CTs coming from mid doors or CT spawn. 

The Orange Player

This player will push along with the others lower tunnels, entry frag any CTs waiting there, and will then push along with green and blue into mid. He should camp right outside of yellow's CT spawn smoke and wait for any CTs pushing from there. He can also set up a crossfire with yellow, should anyone come through mid doors and kill yellow.

The Green Player

This player will push mid along with yellow and orange into mid and kill anyone waiting either window or outside of B doors. He will then push along with purple and blue into B, take out anyone waiting at car or on site, and play in back plat watching upper tunnels after the bomb has been planted.

The Purple Player

This player will push through upper at the same time as green. He will check outside of tunnels and back plat for any CTs and will then play at car watching doors.

The Blue Player

This player will be the bomb carrier. He will push through upper after purple, kill anyone that purple is unable to and go straight for the bomb. After plant, he will play on site watching window.

Cat A Play

The Purple Player

This player will be the entry fragger for cat. He will be the first to push, he will smoke mid doors, then proceed to cat and kill anyone waiting there. He will wait for orange to fire off A site, then push onto site, kill any CTs there or on goose, and will play on ramp watching short after orange kills any CTs long.

The Orange Player

This player will push behind purple with an AWP, fire off site, and then push together taking out any opposition. He will proceed to smoke off CT, take out anyone long or pit and then play goose watching long.

The Green Player

This player will push behind orange and purple on cat and will camp behind cat stairs, ready to kill any CTs that yellow will tell him are trying to come up cat.

The Blue Player

This player will be the bomb carrier and will therefore be the last one to push up cat. He will fire off short behind him, go straight to site, plant the bomb for cat where it can be easily watched by green or yellow and will then play car watching anyone coming from CT spawn.

The Yellow Player

This player will be the lurker. He will wait for purple to smoke off mid doors and will then proceed to camp in lower tunnels. There, he will kill anyone trying to come from upper or mid doors, and let green know where the CTs are pushing from if he dies. He can also let unsuspecting CTs push up cat and come up behind them while green distracts them.
