1) #DIGCSGO FE: INVITED TO INTEL CHALLENGE AT IEM KATOWICE

Our CS:GO Female team has received an invitation to the premier tournament for women’s esports – the Intel Challenge hosted at the Intel Extreme Masters in Katowice, Poland. It’s the third year in a row the roster will compete in the tournament whose prize pot increased to $50,000 this year. In 2016, the group finished 3rd place followed by 2nd place in 2017 – solidifying Team Dignitas as the second best team in the world.

Prior to the 2018 tournament, the team will be traveling to Philadelphia to bootcamp at the 76ers Training Complex while also participating in the 76ers unique sports science training regimen.

2) #DIGRL: ROCKET LEAGUE MAKES IMPRESSIVE DEBUT IN GERMANY

Our newly announced Rocket League team jetted off to Leipzig, Germany for the Dreamhack Open. In their debut match, Team Dignitas faced Rogue – a Rocket League Championship Series team (Top 8 in North America), winning 2-1. The team next faced off against G2 Esports – widely considered one of the best teams in the world & ELEAGUE Champions. Our team had a decisive victory to secure top place in their group. In the next stage, Team Dignitas was paired against two European teams, winning both matches to advance to the playoffs.

The team, unfortunately, were matched again versus G2 Esports, this time in the Quarter-Finals, where our squad nearly pulled off a victory. The team lost by a single goal in the final map of a game that went the full distance. G2 eventually went to the Grand Finals. Still, Team Dignitas turned heads with a Top 8 finish out of 32 teams, leaving fans excited for what our new team will accomplish in regular season play.

3) #DIGHEROES: NEW ROSTER SITS ATOP STANDINGS

The Heroes of the Storm team played against Diamond Skin & Method in their Week 2 matches. Both matches were won in decisive fashion; 3-0. As a result, our team has not dropped a single match across all three sets. Team Dignitas sits alone atop the European standings with a 3-0 record and 9-0 in maps.

4) #DIGPUBG: TEAM ADVANCES TO ROUND 4 BUT FALLS JUST SHORT OF IEM

The PUBG team continued an impressive run throughout the 1,121 team qualifier. During Round 3, the PUBG team outplaced several notable teams such as NiP Gaming. The squad made it into the final round of the open qualifiers. With their points, they finished 24th but it wasn’t enough to advance to Katowice. Still, the previous round’s performances showed great improvement as the team heads into the upcoming Global Loot League & Auzom seasons.

5) #DIGSMASH: HUGS AND LUCKY FINISH TOP 4 AT ESPORTS ARENA EVENT

Hot off impressive performances at GENESIS 5, our Super Smash Bros. Melee players participated in a regional tournament at Southern California’s Esports Arena. The event, titled Noods Noods Noods (hosted by Cup Noodles), saw 210 players participate. Our two players cruised through the group stage before reaching the playoffs. Just as it happened at GENESIS 5, Lucky and HugS were matched up against each other in the SemiFinals, with Lucky coming out victorious. In the end, HugS finished 4th and Lucky finished 3rd place.
