#DIGFLY Game Preview - February 17, 2017

Battle Theater (NALCS1) 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET

Game Summary

Team Dignitas (2-6) launches the Friday NA LCS broadcast against FlyQuest. The best-of-three series will take place in Battle Theater (NALCS1) approximately 3:00 p.m. (PT).

FlyQuest (6-2), while coming off a 1-1 Week 4, lost in a nail-biting 1-2 series against undefeated Cloud9.

While all eyes will be on Hai "Hai" Du Lam as the primary facilitator to FlyQuest's victories, Galen "Moon" Holgate has arguably been just as instrumental to FlyQuest's victories. With underwhelming stints with NRG Esports and Team Liquid, Moon has seemingly revitalized his career with newfound aggression. Ranked second in the NA LCS in kills (102), Moon's success will be a primary factor when Dignitas faces off against FlyQuest.

With FlyQuest's second facilitator in mind, the jungle matchup between Sang-Hyun "Chaser" Lee and Moon will be interesting to follow. Playing Graves and Rengar in his two victories against Team Envy, Chaser will look to calculatively emulate Moon's aggression while maintaining support for all three lanes.

#DIGTL Game Preview - February 18, 2017

Battle Theater (NALCS2) 12:00 p.m. PT / 3:00 p.m. ET

Game Summary

After facing FlyQuest, Team Dignitas will match up against Team Liquid for the first time this season the following day. Saturday's match will kickstart the NA LCS in Battle Theater (NALCS2) approximately 12:00 p.m. (PT).

Team Liquid (2-6) will look to take away a win against an opponent who wields the same record; however, unlike Team Dignitas, TL suffered two consecutive losses in Week 4 with defeats against Cloud9 and Immortals.

With newfound acquisitions Greyson "Goldenglue" Gilmer in the mid lane and former NA LCS MVP Yeu-Jin "Reignover" Kim in the jungle, Team Liquid has constructed their roster to blend veteran superstars with developing rookies in an attempt to grow the roster into a NA LCS contender.

William "Stunt" Chen made his Team Dignitas debut against Team Envy, earning himself and the team a 2-0 victory. Should Stunt start again during Week 5, his matchup against Matt "Matt" Elento should be an adequate barometer to gauge his skill floor against another rising NA LCS support. As Team Liquid's bottom lane Gwang-Jin "Piglet" Chae and Matt rank 5th and 6th most amongst NA LCS players in total deaths (72 and 71 respectively), look for Team Dignitas to exploit the two throughout the series.
