Team Dignitas signs Heroes of the Storm team

Sat 3rd Jan 2015 - 5:00pm

Blizzard's MOBA Heroes of the Storm has been picking up the pace in its development as well as the expansion of it competitive scene. Today we are happy to join the scene with the signing of a Heroes of the Storm team.

The core of the team is made up of members of our German Infinite Crisis team. Nils 'Nurok' Gebhardt, Marcel 'Veineless' Lehmann and Christoph 'Cris' Gowitzke have been playing Heroes of the Storm for a while now and will be fully moving over to Blizzard's title after an ESL IC tournament on January 11th.

They will be joined by Marcel 'SaiiLess' Maier and Tino 'Blooddragon' Hanke, who has been our IC team's substitute player for a while now. Kevin 'Keltion' Wolske will remain as the team's manager and substitute.

dignitas/Keltion, HotS team manager:

"First of all, 2014 was an amazing year for us. We've had the opportunity to go to PAX East ending in third place, managed to win 4 out of 6 showmatches against Na'Vi at Dreamhack Summer and last but not least won the Season 1 European Championship. With our last major tournament in Infinite Crisis approaching, we managed to claim the second seed for the Regional Qualifiers in January. We're very confident to make it to the Season 2 Championship played in the ESL Studios in Cologne as one of the two best European teams."

"For 2015, we decided to part ways with Infinite Crisis, as we will be fully focusing on competing in Heroes of the Storm. Although Infinite Crisis has offered all of us great opportunities we believe that the future of HotS does so even more and we will be trying our best to achieve even better results in the new scene. Last but not least , we want to thank Team Dignitas for the great opportunity and are happy to stay with the organization."

Please join us in welcoming our new Heroes of the Storm team!
